At present, the library of Jianhua Campus of Hebei Medical University has a total construction area of 6,300 square meters, nearly 900 reading seats, more than 400,000 books, more than 65,438 Chinese periodicals and 50 computers/kloc-0. It is a modern university library integrating borrowing, learning and scientific research.

In addition to purchasing rich literature resources, Jianhua Campus Library also actively purchases electronic resources. From 20 15, it has successively purchased Goethe e-book borrowing machines, mobile libraries and newspaper machines.

At the same time, based on the principle of resource sharing, teachers and students of Jianhua Campus can use the campus network to access all electronic resources purchased by the library of Zhongshan Campus of Hebei Medical University.

The library also introduced the library integrated management system of Beijing Jinpan Pengtu Software Technology Co., Ltd., established Chinese and foreign bibliographic databases, Chinese and foreign periodical databases and reader databases, fully realized the automation from book purchasing, cataloging, circulation, data query to reading management and reader management, and formed an all-round and multi-level literature information service system with information service as the core.
