Changning District Library is a regional cultural facility integrating lending, digital information, academic exchange, exhibition, education and training. The new building has a building area of 1.6 million square meters, a collection of more than 300,000 books, Chinese and foreign newspapers and periodicals 1.00, and reading seats 1.200. There are Chinese and foreign newspapers and periodicals reading rooms, social science lending rooms, literature lending rooms, natural science lending rooms, youth lending rooms, reference rooms, multimedia audio-visual rooms, electronic reading rooms, special collection rooms, painting and calligraphy rooms and other service windows, as well as exhibition halls, multifunctional halls and classrooms.
Changning District Library is a national first-class library and a civilized unit in the district, and has been rated as "readers' favorite library" by the Ministry of Culture.
