Thirty volumes of the Book of Scholars were written by Zhao Mingcheng in the Song Dynasty, and the rest were completed by his wife Li Qingzhao. The first ten volumes and the last twenty volumes of Jin Shilu. This is a concise and insightful comment.
Extended data
The style of this book is modeled after the collection of ancient records, but it combines the title and postscript into one book. There are 30 volumes in the book, with the first ten volumes as the table of contents and 2000 volumes in one volume. In fact, there are less than 2,000 kinds, because a few great monuments are divided into two or more volumes, but they are much more than the 1000 volume of Ji Gu Zhi. These 2000 volumes are arranged in chronological order and can't keep up with the times.
The last 20 volumes are inscriptions, not all 2000 volumes, but only 502 kinds, but they are already very useful historical documents. Because, like Jigulu, most of the original stones and rubbings of the inscriptions collected in Jinshilu have not been handed down, of which the Tang Dynasty accounted for a large part, and some of them were preserved in Jinshilu.
