Introduction-

Young student Charlie (Chris O'Donnell) inadvertently witnessed the process of several students preparing to tease the headmaster, who asked him to tell the mastermind of the prank, or he would be punished. Charlie works part-time at the home of Lieutenant Colonel Steven (Al Pacino), a veteran.

Lieutenant Colonel Schfarlane was General Patton's adjutant. He experienced war and many setbacks, and his eyes were blown blind in an accident. He did nothing at home all day and lost the courage and confidence to live. He is going to use his last energy to enjoy a better life. He took Charlie on a trip, ate delicious food, drove a car, danced the tango, stayed in a luxury hotel, and then wanted to end his life.
