Nails often catch stockings, causing them to fall off the silk. If the socks are just hooked, take them off immediately, apply a little super glue or nail polish on the hooked thread head, and scrape them off gently by hand. After a while, the hooked thread heads will stick together firmly and will not fall off the thread. If the hole is large, it is advisable to coat a layer of old stockings of the same color around it and stick them on the hole. Make it up when it's dry.
