Walking into the center of Wuwei, many landmark buildings have the slogan "Free Wuwei", which is the propaganda slogan of local cultural tourism. Many tourists said that they felt the slogan was romantic, but if they deeply experienced it, they would fall into the trap of not knowing where to "wave" and "spread" except "horse". Whether people who watch the "copper galloping horse" can stay and "swim slowly" has always been a major event that puzzles the development of cultural tourism in Wuwei.

The embarrassment of "wanting to stay but not staying" in rich tourist destinations
At present, Wuwei faces two major traffic problems: no high-speed rail and no airport. This is the first consideration for people who spend time traveling in the fast pace of contemporary society. Hexi Corridor is more than 1000 kilometers, with long and scattered tourist routes. "Instead of spending time on the way to Wuwei, it is better to go directly to Zhangye and then go all the way west to Dunhuang." Some tourists commented on the Internet.
Open the official website of Wuwei Municipal Government, and in the investment environment and resource advantages section, it is clearly hung: Wuwei is the tourist symbol capital of China, a famous historical and cultural city in China, an excellent tourist city in China, with a long history and rich cultural relics. There are 29 immovable cultural relics 1029 in the city, including 3 national key cultural relics protection units 13 and 49 provincial cultural relics protection units, with more than 50,000 cultural relics in the collection, including many national treasures.
Among so many historical relics, the most familiar one is "One Horse", which is the tourist sign of "Copper Horse Racing" in China and its land-Leitai Han Tomb. There is also a popular joke on the Internet that Wuwei has nothing to compare with its rich tourism resources, such as "only a cave, a temple, a temple, a monument and a pagoda, and Tang Tian Temple, one of the five largest Tibetan Buddhist temples in northern China".
According to Song Yan, a staff member of Wuwei Culture and Tourism Bureau, the so-called "One Cave" is Tiantai Mountain Grottoes, the originator of China Grottoes, and the "One Temple" is the historical witness of Tibet's belonging to the motherland-Baita Temple, which is the crown of the Confucian Temple and Longyou Learning Palace, and the "One Monument" is the Xixia Monument, which is a walking dictionary for learning Xixia characters.
Such rich tourism resources can't keep tourists. Most people who come to Wuwei choose "one-day tour", and even many guests who take the Silk Road use Wuwei as a stopover. After watching the bronze galloping horse, I ate a "three cars" and left.
Historically, Liangzhou was one of the three major economic centers in the Tang Dynasty. Liangzhou has been a fertile ground for "mulberry trees" since ancient times, and it is a major commercial port in the northwest with "crisscross of horses and chariots and sunshine", and its economy is prosperous at night. If Wuwei wants to break through the difficulty of retaining people, it should not only solve the current traffic bottleneck as soon as possible, but also recreate the glory of the night Liangzhou.

Construction of "Silk Road Pedestrian Street" and Reconstruction of "Prosperous Liangzhou"
"The construction of the cultural tourism complex project in Leitai Scenic Area in Wuwei can solve some problems that are difficult to retain people to a certain extent." Song Yan said that the project will upgrade Leitai Han Tomb Ruins Park and its surrounding cultural tourism facilities by exploring the sleeping history and culture of Guliangzhou, and build it into a characteristic tourism complex that radiates Han culture tourism and artistic creative experience.
On 20 17, Wuwei Municipal Government and Gonghanglv Group signed the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement for Leitai Scenic Area Cultural Tourism Complex Project. The project officially started construction on 20 18 and 10, with a construction period of 4 years. It will be built into a comprehensive 5A-level city integrating site protection, historical education, tourism and leisure, and cultural and creative bases.
"Silk Road Pedestrian Street" is located in the cultural tourism complex of Leitai Scenic Area, with the theme of Silk Road culture. On the basis of the original single commercial function, we will expand new functions such as culture, tourism, leisure and food, and integrate commercial activities, urban leisure and history and culture. The staff said that the key is to provide tourists with a gathering place for eating, living, traveling, shopping and entertainment.
According to the staff of Leitai Scenic Area Cultural Tourism Complex, there are 94 single buildings in the project, and 93 buildings have been capped at present. The designed green coverage rate is as high as 56%, which will become "urban green lung, natural oxygen bar". Focus on the design of Tianma Walking Garden, Liangzhou Poetry Garden and Tianma Expo Park, fully integrating culture and nature, so that tourists can experience the beauty of natural harmony while experiencing cultural tourism.
Some citizens said that the pedestrian street is also a "window of the city". There is no "decent" pedestrian street in Wuwei at present. The night market frequented by local foodies is not only difficult to park, but also remote, so tourists can't find the north. Song Yan believes that if the Silk Road Pedestrian Street is completed, it will be a qualitative leap for Wuwei tourism, enhance tourists' sense of participation and experience, and the night tour in Liangzhou will reproduce the glory of Han and Tang Dynasties.
Awaken the sleeping history and make the cultural relics come alive.
When you travel to Wuwei, you will also hear a sentence: "You have something to listen to, but nothing to play with and nothing to buy." Although local historical resources have been excavated and some cultural and creative products have been developed in recent years, the types are relatively single. There seems to be nothing to take away except souvenirs like "Copper Running Horse". Since last year, Wuwei Museum has turned some cultural relics that have been sleeping for thousands of years into "awakening" online celebrity products.
The library cooperated with Ningxia University to launch the bookmark series of Xixia Zodiac. Taking the names of the zodiac in Xixia language and the corresponding animal images in Xixia art as visual design symbols, the Xixia zodiac mascot was creatively designed by using modern copper electroplating hollow-out technology, which showed the outstanding achievements of the integration of traditional culture and creative inspiration in the new era.
Liang, deputy director of Wuwei Museum, for example, said that the design of the series of carved porcelain was inspired by Xixia's unique carving techniques. Combined with the common patterns and special patterns of Xixia carved porcelain, we designed wine sets, tea sets, stationery and other products suitable for modern life by hand carving, which were deeply loved by tourists. This series of wenchuang also won the bronze prize in Gansu tourism commodity competition.
"Thousands of years ago, the artistic creation of the ancients was combined with modern technology, and the pattern of the Eight Birds Chaoyang was like a national tide." Liang said that Chaoyang Eight Birds Portrait Brick is a caisson brick unearthed from Wei and Jin Tombs in Wuwei. The inspiration of this series of creative products comes from this portrait brick, which is still exquisite after thousands of years. Pillows, mobile phone cases, mouse pads, scarves, cosmetic mirrors and so on are all developed and designed from this.
"It is no exaggeration to say that many cultural creations are already online celebrity products." Liang said that Wuwei is a big city of cultural relics, and 90% of unearthed cultural relics are collected in museums. Nowadays, cultural relics have a younger expression through the innovation of contemporary people. As the Spring Festival is approaching, cultural and creative products, as a kind of "affordable and take away" culture, will become a New Year custom, and the future will also be a new tourism symbol of Wuwei.
