Rules for ceiling and wall materials?
(1) When the ceiling or wall is made of porous or foamed plastic, its thickness should not be greater than 15mm, and its area should not exceed 10% of the ceiling or wall area of the room.

(2) The ceilings and walls of libraries, reference rooms, archives rooms and rooms where cultural relics are stored shall be decorated with Grade A materials, and the floors shall be decorated with materials not lower than Grade B 1.

(3) Large and medium-sized computer rooms, central control rooms, telephone mainframe rooms and other rooms where special and valuable equipment is placed, the ceiling and walls should be decorated with Grade A materials, and the floors and other decorations should be decorated with materials not lower than Grade B 1.

(4) The ceilings, walls and floors of stairwells without natural lighting, enclosed stairwells and smoke-proof stairwells shall be decorated with Grade A decoration materials.

(5) When the atrium, promenade, open stairs and escalators are connected with the upper and lower floors in the building, the ceiling and wall surface of the connection parts shall adopt Grade A decorative materials, and other parts shall adopt decorative materials not lower than Grade B 1.

(6) The ceiling decoration materials for the horizontal evacuation walkways and hallways of the above-ground buildings are Grade A decoration materials, and the other parts are not less than Grade B 1 decoration materials.

(7) The ceiling, wall and floor of the kitchen in the building should adopt Grade A decoration materials.
