Qian Xuesen Library and Museum
1May, 995, with the approval of the Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China, Qian Xuesen himself agreed that Xi Jiaotong University named the library Qian Xuesen Library, which was the first library named after a living scientist in China and the only library named after Qian Xuesen with the approval of Qian Xuesen himself in China.
The orientation of the library is to share with Qian Xuesen's deeds, cultural relics and other scientific research and teaching resources, and to establish Qian Xuesen's characteristic database.
1996, Qian Xuesen said deeply in his written speech at the opening ceremony of Qian Xuesen's library: In a sense, without libraries and archives, there would be no Qian Xuesen today.
