The library of Huazhong University of Science and Technology has three fully functional libraries with a total area of 43,020 square meters and a collection of 3.49 million books, covering 9 disciplines including science, engineering, literature, management and medicine.

The library of Huazhong University of Science and Technology was formed by merging the former library of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, the library of Tongji Medical University and the library of Wuhan Urban Construction College.
