Chengdu Museum is the largest comprehensive museum in Chengdu with a history of more than 50 years.
Chengdu Museum is located on the west side of Tianfu Square in Chengdu, adjacent to Sichuan Library, Sichuan Art Museum and Sichuan Science and Technology Museum. It covers an area of about 17 mu, with a total construction area of 65,000 square meters. 20 10 Two Han Dynasty stone tablets unearthed from the civil air defense project of Dongyu Street in Tianfu Square have a strange shape: the stone tablets have four corners, which are still inclined to this day, and even have chisels on them, and the larger stone tablets are engraved with neat words. At the end of the inscription, it is mentioned that "Yuanjia has two secondary □", and experts interpret "Yuanjia has two secondary" as "the second year of Yuanjia in the Eastern Han Dynasty". In the second year of Yuanjia, namely 152, Herry Liu, the Emperor of the Han Dynasty, was in power. On a smaller stone tablet, the words "late June of the first year of this year" are very clear. The first year of this period was 146, which means that the smaller of the two stone tablets was 1864 years ago. There are more than 2,000 seal cutting characters on stone tablets, far exceeding the Han Dynasty stone tablets unearthed in China in the past, and filling the extremely scarce literature materials in the Han Dynasty.
