The WorldDigital Library was officially launched in Paris, the headquarters of UNESCO, on April 2 1 2009, providing free use of precious books, maps, manuscripts, movies and photos for readers all over the world. The collection of the World Digital Library covers everything from books to archives. Users can search in seven languages, including Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish, and other language tools are also applicable.
