Making friends will have disadvantages.
Usually people are easily attracted by those who are good at expressing themselves and taking the initiative, and such people are also easy to make friends. Compared with extroverts, introverts are relatively dull in the eyes of others, and seldom express themselves actively, so they are easily misunderstood by others and think they are "indifferent" or "boring", so the number of friends will be less. Even sometimes introverts really want to make friends with others, but it is difficult to get along freely with others, and they often end up alone.
There will be disadvantages in some situations where communication is needed.
Introverts tend to prefer quiet solitude and don't like too much socializing or communicating with others, but there are some occasions when they have to communicate, which will show that introverts have great disadvantages. For example, in class, the teacher requires every student to give a speech on the stage, which is very easy for extroverts, but for many introverts, it may take a lot of courage and energy to make themselves look as calm as possible on the podium. And because they are introverted, they will consciously avoid some occasions or competitions that need to show themselves, which is likely to make them miss some valuable opportunities.
It's easy to deny yourself because of other people's opinions.
Since childhood, we have often heard adults say that "this child is fine, just introverted" and "you should make more friends and not stay alone". In the eyes of many adults, introversion seems to be a defect, as if introverts don't deserve a bright life. Many introverts grow up in such an environment, and it is easy to hate themselves in their bones, which is the biggest shortcoming of introverts.
