In June, 20001year, Xinxiang Library moved from the old Weihe Park to the new Weihe Park. The new museum covers an area of 8,722 square meters and has more than 800,000 books. Among them, there are 200,000 ancient books. There are 55 employees with senior, middle and junior titles. There are seven departments: editing department, lending department, books and periodicals reading department, ancient books department, network information department, office and security department. The windows open to the outside world are: loan department, newspaper reading room, children's reading room, back issue newspaper reference room, special collection of ancient books reference room and electronic reading room. In the past two years, the staff of the whole library have worked hard and won the honorary titles of national key ancient books protection unit, national second-class library and provincial advanced unit for youth education.
