Among them, Hongshan site group was rated as a national cultural relics protection unit in 2006. Weijiawopu Hongshan Culture settlement site was rated as one of the "20 New Discoveries" in the third national cultural relics survey in 20 10, and one of the "100 New Discoveries" in the third national cultural relics survey in National Cultural Heritage Administration in 2010. Erdaojingzi cultural site is the best preserved Xiajiadian cultural site found at present. It was rated as "Six New Archaeological Discoveries in China in 2009" by the Institute of Archaeology of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and "Ten New Archaeological Discoveries in China in 2009" by National Cultural Heritage Administration. They took measures to protect cultural relics. On February 20 12, Hongshan district held a demonstration meeting on the cultural relics protection planning scheme of erdaojingzi site. Experts from China Institute of Cultural Relics, Inner Mongolia Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, Peking University Wenbo College and Inner Mongolia Cultural Relics Information Center attended the demonstration meeting, which laid the foundation for the protection, development and utilization of Erdaojingzi cultural site in the next step.

Do a good job in the protection, reinforcement and daily monitoring of Erdaojingzi site, so as to lay a solid foundation for the further reinforcement, protection, development, utilization and display of the site. Do a good job in binding Weijiawopu site, Hongshan site group and Niuheliang site to declare world cultural heritage, accelerate the pace of protection, development and utilization of cultural sites in Hongshan District, enhance cultural soft power, and enhance the domestic and international popularity of Hongshan District.
