Outdoor evacuation walkways in crowded public places are mainly aimed at buildings or places where a large number of people need to be evacuated at the same time, such as auditoriums, gymnasiums, cinemas, theaters, school buildings, large and medium-sized shopping malls and so on.
Other laws, regulations or norms define crowded places as follows:
Article 73 of the Fire Protection Law of People's Republic of China (PRC): (4) Crowded places refer to public gathering places, outpatient and ward buildings of hospitals, teaching buildings, libraries, canteens and dormitories of schools, nursing homes, welfare homes, nurseries, kindergartens, reading rooms of public libraries, exhibition halls of public exhibitions and museums, and labor-intensive enterprises.
Article 35 of Decree No.73 of the Ministry of Public Security "Regulations on Fire Supervision and Inspection" has been stipulated, and the fire department is currently implementing it according to this regulation. The transcript is as follows: Article 35 The crowded places mentioned in these Provisions refer to the following places: (1) public gathering places such as hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, bazaars, stadiums, auditoriums and public entertainment places; (two) the outpatient building and ward building of the hospital, the teaching building, library, dormitory, sanatorium, nursery and kindergarten of the school; (3) Passenger stations, docks, civil airports and waiting rooms (buildings); (4) Reading rooms of public libraries and exhibition halls of public exhibition halls; (five) the production and processing workshops and staff quarters of labor-intensive enterprises.
