Tianjin University of Commerce Library was founded in 1980, and the new library was put into use in 2006, with an area of 3,3621m2 and 3,478 reading seats. The new library adopts the management mode of borrowing and lending in one, and the reading rooms are all large-bay buildings. The function of each floor is more humanized, and the wireless network is fully covered, which is convenient for teachers and students to find and use the collection resources, which fully embodies the people-oriented service concept.

While continuously strengthening the construction of literature resources, the library has carried out various forms of reading promotion, database publicity and training, information consultation and subject service, which has significantly improved the utilization rate of literature resources and made positive contributions to the discipline construction, teaching and scientific research and personnel training of the school.

As the document information center of the university, the library of Tianjin University of Commerce will be oriented to teaching and scientific research, improve its functions with the help of modern service means under the existing service content and mode, and carry out multi-level information service based on document service to provide high-level document guarantee for the teaching and scientific research of the university.
