Liaocheng University Library is located in the northeast of Liaocheng University's beautiful west campus. Its predecessor was the Library of Liaocheng Branch of Shandong Normal University, which was established in June 1974 1 1. In July, it was renamed as Liaocheng Teachers College Library 198 1. In February, 2002, the Ministry of Education approved the renaming of Liaocheng Teachers College as Liaocheng University, and the library as Liaocheng University Library.
