The monthly income of primary translators is 4,000-7,000 yuan/month (first-tier city standard, the same below) (CATTI 2+2 million words translation experience, or equivalent level, just graduated from general translation master).

The monthly income of intermediate translators is 7000-10.5 million yuan/month (master of translation from a first-class translation school in China+translation experience of more than 3 million words, or equivalent).

Senior translator 15000+/ month (CATTI 1 or equivalent level, generally more than 8 years, equivalent to the level of associate professor of translation).

Instructions for registration of translation exam:

Candidates must carefully read the "NAETI Application Notes" before entering the exam, and after accepting all the regulations, log on to the relevant registration website of the Examination Center of the Ministry of Education to register. After the registration is successful, candidates will go to the test center to confirm with their valid identity documents within the specified time.

After individual projects (translation or interpretation) are successfully reported online, candidates who have retained their Band 4 scores should provide the original transcripts of the last exam in addition to the required materials when they go to the test center for confirmation.
