The old campus of Fujian South China Women's Vocational College is located at the top of the scenic Yantai Mountain and beside the Minjiang River. It was established on 1984 with the approval of Fujian Provincial People's Government. It is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning with academic qualifications and enrollment qualifications recognized by the state.
