The Chinese borrowing room is located on the second floor of Qingdao Library, which is mainly responsible for borrowing Chinese books.

Chinese periodicals

The Chinese newspaper reading room is located on the second floor of Qingdao Library, near the main entrance of the library, with an area of 750 square meters. There are 2000 kinds of Chinese periodicals and 300 kinds of Chinese newspapers, which are responsible for reading and inquiring Chinese newspapers and periodicals, and have 304 reading seats.

Chinese editing and editing

Chinese acquisition and editing is responsible for the acquisition and editing of Chinese books.

Reading department

The reading department is the basic library of Chinese books in the whole library, providing open-shelf reading services.

The Foreign Languages Department is responsible for the acquisition and cataloging of foreign language books.

Electronic reading room

The electronic reading room is located on the fourth floor of Qingdao Library, covering an area of 450 square meters. It has 134 multimedia computers with a bandwidth of 100 megabytes to the desktop. It can be used for online browsing, audio and video on demand, database query, etc.

multifunctional hall

The multifunctional hall is located on the first floor of Qingdao Library, covering an area of 600 square meters, including three single rooms, first-class lighting, stereo, bar and small stage. It is an ideal place for holding cafes, tea bars, music bars and leisure bars.

classroom

The lecture hall is located on the third floor of Qingdao Library, with independent entrance and exit, covering an area of 400 square meters. It has 260 advanced soft seats, first-class digital conference system and digital surround sound film projection system. Regular academic conferences, lectures, film appreciation and personal concerts, especially "semi-monthly talks" and "weekend film appreciation", have attracted a large number of public participation and have a high social reputation.
