1970 After graduating from the Chinese Department of Shanxi Normal University, I taught in a middle school of Taiyuan Xishan Mining Bureau for 9 years.

1979 was admitted to Shanxi normal university as a postgraduate majoring in ancient Chinese, and graduated from 1982. He used to be the deputy director and curator of Shanxi Normal University Library 18 years.

In 2002, he was appointed as the director of China Institute of Calligraphy and Painting Culture of Shanxi Normal University.

In 2004, undergraduate and graduate students in calligraphy were enrolled.

Retired in 2008.
