Fortress (unofficial also called ruins) is a kind of buildings naturally generated underground, including many rooms, corridors, stairs, doors and other structures; The fortress was launched after the adventure element was updated. In addition to the above structure, there is a big room in the fortress with an inactive terminal entrance. The terminal portal can be activated by the player's last shadow eye, and the player can reach a dead end through it. Each world will produce three fortresses.
The interior of the fortress is made up of Shi Zhuan, Shi Zhuan and stone bricks, while the stairs are made up of stone steps.
The structure of the fortress is quite complex, equivalent to a huge maze, with many corridors and rooms, as well as many random halls, columns, spiral stairs and straight stairs. The corridor may lead to the hall or other rooms, or it may be blocked by natural stones to form a dead corner. Rooms may lead to other rooms, which are connected by wooden doors or iron doors, and the iron doors are controlled by buttons on both sides. "Arch" decoration often appears in the passage and is made of iron railings.
There are many kinds of big rooms in the fort. For example:
Library: a wooden single-story or double-story hall, guided by cobblestone stairs, with a large number of bookshelves, wooden railings, ladders, chandeliers and cobwebs. Libraries vary in size. A small library usually contains bookshelves, wooden floors and a box. A large library contains a large number of neatly arranged bookshelves, wooden fences, wooden floors and torches, and a second floor with a rooftop is formed on the lower floor of the library. The two floors are connected by a ladder on the wall opposite the entrance. Although the artificial structure of the library is neat and orderly, the cobwebs are messy. There is a staircase outside the library, which is the only structure paved with huge stones in the fortress (excluding the dungeon in the fortress).
Cell: It is made up of walls covered with iron bars. Cells always seem to appear in the corridor in pairs, each with its own characteristics-iron gates without buttons and iron bars and cages, but they are all empty and there are no prisoners in them.
Storage room: a room with boxes on the middle table.
Intersection hall: there is a fountain or a pillar inlaid with torches in the middle.
Portal room: There is a terminal portal hanging in the center of the room, and there is a magma pool under the portal. There is a small staircase leading to the portal in the room with a moth brush box embedded in the middle.
There is also an unusual structure. The stairwell against the wall lives under the bridge or arch, and the other stairwell leads to the bridge (but it can hardly lead to other places from here). Although these structures are random, they still have some similar forms.
Introduction [edit]
The size of different forts varies greatly (although it will be "huge"). A fortress is like a maze with many doors and rooms. The room consists of Shi Zhuan, Moss Shi Zhuan and Split Shi Zhuan. Some treasures can also be found in the boxes of the fortress, such as paper, red stone, books, coal, gold ingots, iron ingots, compasses, apples, golden apples, the last pearls, iron breastplates, iron boots, pickaxes, iron helmets, maps, iron swords, obsidian, diamonds and jadeite.
Fortresses are usually built underground, not exposed to the surface, and only part of them can be seen from caves or underwater caves. Some seeds will connect with the dungeon under the fortress. Terrain generators can't tell the difference between forts and ordinary blocks, so some characteristic buildings, such as underground canyons and abandoned mines, will inadvertently pass through forts, making the structure of forts more complicated and even impossible to navigate. I wonder if this strange question is intentional by the designer. Although it is called a "fortress", there are no specific creatures living in it except those that are produced according to normal laws. Of course, the fortress is also the only place that produces moths (including brush strange cages and moth squares), and there is no plan to add other special creatures at present.
There are wooden doors and iron gates between rooms, and buttons are controlled on both sides of the wall next to the iron gate. There is something special about these doors. It seems that they all face in the same direction, causing some doors to "always open". If this type is an iron gate, the button will become the opposite effect of "don't press the door, press the door". "Arch" decoration often appears in the passage and is made of iron railings. Torches and boxes were scattered in the fortress.
The treasure chest in the fortress can be found in the library. The box can be found in the corner of the bookshelf, which is located on the upper floor of the double floor. You can also find boxes on the upper floor of the intersection. You can find papers, books, compasses and possibly maps in the boxes in the library. In the boxes at the crossroads, you will find coal, bread, red stone powder, iron ingots, iron swords, pickaxes, armor, pearls and apples. In rare cases, you will find saddles and golden apples.
Discovered secrets [edit]
To find the secret of the fortress, first prepare the last shadow eye of about 20, throw one at the birth point, walk 700 meters in the direction of the last shadow eye and then throw one. If the last shadow is still floating upward, walk 50~ 100 meters in his direction and throw another one. Repeat this action, you can narrow down the scope of the fortress until the last shadow eye floats down and then floats down.
All forts are randomly distributed at a distance of 640~ 1 152 meters from the origin (not the birth point). Based on the generation algorithm, part of the fortress may extend within or outside this range. Moreover, the connecting line between the three fortresses and the origin is 20% of the same included angle-that is, the included angle is 120.
The fortress is still a world, limited to three. [1] Fortress can be located with the eye of the last shadow.
If an abandoned mine or canyon passes through the terminal entrance, it may lose its function.
Because of the underground environment, if a fortress is finally built on the ground, the part outside the first floor of the ground block will be deleted, making it impossible for the situation shown in the first picture in the drawing set to happen.
In rare cases, there will be two forts connected together, sometimes even three.
In a very small chance, the terminal entrances of three fortresses in one world may be "swallowed up" by map generation errors. A seed of this vulnerability has been found in 1.6.2 version.
