Qian Dian Middle School in Yuexi County is one of the three ordinary high schools in Yuexi County. Anqing Demonstration Middle School is located at the foot of Sikong Mountain, the first mountain of Zen in China. With the joint efforts of teachers, Qian Dian Senior High School has made great progress and become a highlight of Yuexi education. The school was founded in 1958, and its predecessor was "Anqing Liuyi Middle School Branch". 1970 opened a high school, and 1984 changed to a full middle school. In 2000, Yuexi County Sports Middle School was established, and it was separated from the middle school in 2004. In June 2005, it was named "Anqing Model High School" by the Municipal Education Bureau. The school covers an area of nearly 100 mu, and there are 29 classes, with nearly 1.80 students and 20 faculty members. The school has a young and dedicated team of teachers with professional support and reasonable structure. The collectivization, hardening, lighting and beautification of the central square has been completed, and the comprehensive building integrating library, lecture hall and art and sports classroom is under construction, which will surely make the hardware facilities of our school leap to a new level.
