Dalian Minzu University Library has two buildings, namely Development Zone Campus and Jinshitan Campus, with a total construction area of 33,694 square meters. It is a cultural landmark and landmark building on campus, and an important space for teachers and students to learn and communicate. There are seven departments in the museum: editorial department, reference room, technical department, circulation department, reading department, office and library management department of Jinshitan campus. The library currently has 54 staff members, 8 of whom have master's degrees, and 15 have senior titles. There are 5000 reading seats and 600 computers for readers to use.

With the rapid development of the school, the library's collection of literature resources is increasingly rich. By the end of 20 16 and 12, the library had1720,000 paper books, 1040,000 electronic books, more than 400 Chinese and foreign periodicals, 52 Chinese and foreign databases and10 self-built databases. The collection is mainly based on engineering, featuring Manchu studies and Northeast ethnic studies, and gradually forms an information security system in which printed documents and electronic documents, physical resources in the collection and online virtual resources complement each other.

The library actively carries out reader training, interlibrary loan, self-service loan, online reservation, renewal, book recommendation, new book push, reference service, retrieval quotation, document delivery and resource navigation, mobile library and other multi-level and multi-form services. The library implements one-card management and adopts advanced management and service modes such as shared lending, shared lending and comprehensive service. The weekly opening hours are 1 19 hours.

The library adheres to the purpose of "reader first, service and education", focuses on the construction, development and utilization of literature information resources, and takes the construction of digital library as the direction, establishes a perfect literature resource guarantee system and reader service system, and strives to build the library into a campus academic and cultural center integrating learning, research, information discovery, knowledge innovation and leisure experience, providing strong support and guarantee for realizing the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" of school education.
