Books are the ladder of human progress. I have read many books since I was a child. My favorite is Robinson Crusoe written by Defoe, an English writer. The main contents are as follows:

Robinson likes taking risks because he doesn't listen to his parents' advice. 1659 On September 5th, he boarded a ship bound for Africa. After sailing at sea for several months, he came to a strange island.

There is no one on this island. Robinson looked around and found the island desolate, but he accidentally found a carnivore-wild goat. He hunted wild goats to satisfy his hunger, and at the same time went to the boat to carry some food. He lived on the island for 28 years and 2 months 19 days and has been waiting for someone to pick him up. After 28 years, a ship finally picked him up and he was able to return to his hometown.

I like Robinson very much. He dares to take risks and pursue his own ideals. His courage is worth learning.

In Robinson Crusoe, I learned a lot of knowledge, such as how to survive in the wild and how to hunt. At the same time, I also understand that each of us should learn the skills of survival.
