The largest teaching building was built by teachers and senior students themselves in the 1950s, and it was named Risk Building. The south of Venture Building used to be an orange garden. Later, the orange tree was cut down and the lawn was paved, which was close to the seventh dormitory for girls. Now this place has become a railway park, where three retired locomotives "meet", representing the three power eras of steam locomotive, diesel locomotive and electric locomotive. Later, Fuxing high-speed rail vehicles also entered the campus. On the west side of the lawn is the climbing building, which consists of five stepped classrooms with spiral stairs for easy access. Later, the material warehouse on the hillside was demolished, and five dormitories and six dormitories were built, and movies were watched for free on the balcony of the dormitory, which affected the income of the cinema. ? To the west of the yard is a mountain area. During military training, students used to train more than 80 kilometers to Shaoshan, walk west, cross Xiangjiang River to Hexi, and camp in Ningxiang Daolin. The next day, they went to Shaoshan, slept in the waiting room of Shaoshan Railway Station and the square in front of the station, and returned to Changsha by train. At that time, students could take the train with group free tickets without paying. Later, the city developed here and built Furong Road, the north-south main road. Later, the Railway College merged and built the West Gate, and the name of the school became "Railway College of Central South University". Railway alumni have some objections to the merger, and they often feel lost when they return to school, as if their alma mater is gone. After the merger, three sculptures were erected in the campus, one is the 47th anniversary monument of the central garden of Venture Building, the other is the Chunhua Qiushi in front of the Century Building, and the third is the century-old Shu Ren in Ximen. I don't know why these three sculptures are all in the shape of a ball, so these three sculptures have new names, namely "47-year top ball", "four-year top ball in universities" and "three top balls in universities".
