Basic definition of access card The original intelligent access control system consists of a host, a card reader and an electronic lock (computers and communication converters are added when networking). The card reader is a contactless card reader. Only when the cardholder quickly swings the card near the card reader (5- 15cm) can the card reader sense that there is a card and guide the information (card number) in the card to the host. The host examines the illegality of the card before deciding whether to close the door.
As long as it is within the valid credit card category, all processes can realize the access control management function. The card reader is installed on the side wall of the door and does not affect other work. And through the communication adapter (RS485) with the computer for real-time monitoring (all doors can be opened/closed by the computer, and the status of all doors can be viewed in real time), data solving, inquiry, report input, etc.
Function of access card
1. Attendance: For example, company attendance can record employees' commuting time.
2. Consumption: For example, access control in libraries and parking lots can be charged on time, and subway stations can be charged by site.
3. Security: there is no access card, or it is not impossible for company personnel to enter. Cooperate with video monitoring system to realize safety monitoring.
4. Access control: This is a general function of access control, such as community access control and factory access control.
