Beifeng

Beifeng is the highest mountain around the West Lake and the northern starting point of the mountains to the west of the West Lake, so it has become a popular place for mountain climbers. There is the most famous temple of God of Wealth in Beifeng, and many people often ask him for money. The long route is to climb the mountain from the small door behind the library of Yuquan campus of Zhejiang University. If you have good physical strength, you can continue to climb all the way, through Lingyin Temple and Tianzhu Temple, to Shililang, through Longjing, Jiuxi Eighteen Rivers, and reach Zhijiang Campus of Zhejiang University and Pagoda of Six Harmonies on Qiantang River. This is also the famous route of Zhejiang University. Beifeng doesn't accept tickets.

There is nothing to climb on the mountain where Tiger Run is located, and the scenery is average. Feilaifeng is not worth climbing. People who go to Feilaifeng Scenic Area don't climb mountains, but go to see grottoes and Lingyin Temple. Tickets to 45 yuan and Lingyin Temple are charged to 30 yuan.

Others, such as Wu Shan and Phoenix Mountain, are also good. Many sites in the Southern Song Dynasty are on the mountains in that area. You can climb them if you are interested.

There are also two very good mountain roads recommended, just mentioned by Beifeng, Shililang and Jiuxi Eighteen Rivers. Jiuxi 18 River is very beautiful and quiet, and it is a flat stone road. Shililang has many stone steps up and down, and there are many tea trees around.
