The development of history
The history of Luoyang Institute of Technology can be traced back to Sanmenxia Hydropower School founded by 1956, and then went through the development stages of Luoyang Geological Exploration School and Luoyang Building Materials Industry School.
In June 1993, the school was renamed as Luoyang Institute of Technology.
In March 2007, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Luoyang Institute of Technology merged with Luoyang University and was upgraded to Luoyang Institute of Technology.
