What exactly is publishing a book for?
Book distribution in a broad sense is also book sales, including posts in all aspects of book sales. Book distribution has qualification grades (including first-class wholesale, second-class wholesale and retail), first-class wholesalers include publishing houses above the provincial level and Xinhua Bookstore (which may not be completely accurate), and second-class wholesale is a general book wholesale enterprise (many private publishing houses also have this qualification). Distribution posts usually only refer to the sales posts of publishing houses or private publishing houses, and their main tasks are to develop and manage sales channels for secondary publishing houses, retailers and specialized markets to achieve sales. Book distribution companies usually include two types, one is the so-called private publisher, which is engaged in publishing and self-publishing, and the other is only engaged in book wholesale and does not publish. The above two types of publishing companies and publishing houses are cooperative, but the ways of cooperation are not exactly the same. The first category needs to cooperate with the publishing house to be published legally, perhaps just because of the book number, perhaps more cooperation. The book agency or distribution of the second publishing house belongs to the downstream partners of the publishing house, and there are also distribution companies that only cooperate with private publishing houses, which basically have little to do with the publishing house. Simply put, books are pushed out. There are many distribution channels for books, such as Xinhua Bookstore, major bookstores, local book distribution markets and distributors. Book distribution is to establish business relations with these channels and then help publishing houses and book publishing companies to issue books. Generally, publishing houses have distribution departments, but under the current competitive situation, publishing houses will also cooperate with distribution companies to make books more smoothly sold throughout the country.
