Huaqiao University Library was established in 1960. 1970, due to the turmoil of the Cultural Revolution, the school was forced to close down, and all the books in the library were scattered to other institutions, leaving nothing behind. From 65438 to 0978, the State Council made a decision to restore Huaqiao University, and Huada Library also embarked on the road of reconstruction and development. At present, the library has a collection of 1833600 volumes, more than 3,000 periodicals in Chinese and foreign languages, 25 databases in Chinese and foreign languages, and 680,000 online e-books, which has gradually formed a comprehensive document guarantee system supporting the multi-disciplinary structure of the school, such as science, engineering, humanities, social sciences and management.
