China HowNet, founded in June 1999, is an academic platform of Tongfang shares controlled by China National Nuclear Corporation Capital Holdings Co., Ltd. HowNet is the concept of national knowledge infrastructure, which was put forward by the World Bank in June 1998. CNKI project is an information construction project aimed at realizing the dissemination, enjoyment and value-added utilization of knowledge resources in the whole society.
On February 26th, 2022, 65438+ General Administration of Market Supervision imposed an administrative penalty on HowNet for abusing its dominant market position, ordered HowNet to stop its illegal behavior, and imposed a fine of 5% of its sales in China of 202175.2 million yuan, totaling 87.6 million yuan. HowNet responded, sincerely accepted and resolutely obeyed, and announced 15 rectification measures.

Among them, the comprehensive databases include China periodical full-text database, China doctoral thesis database, China excellent master thesis full-text database, China important newspapers full-text database and China important conference literary theory full-text database.

Personalized service platform includes personal digital library, institutional digital library and digital learning platform.
