In the fifty-nine years of Qianlong (1794), the number of albums in the grand ceremony was counted in detail. At that time, there were more than 9,000 copies left, and more than 1000 copies were lost.
In the 18th year of Guangxu (1892), there were only 870 volumes of imperial academy Grand Ceremony. In just a hundred years, Yongle Dadian has only more than 800 volumes from more than 9,000 volumes.
At the end of the Qing Dynasty, China was poor and weak, plundered by foreign powers, and the ceremony collapsed.
By 19 12, with the efforts of Mr. Lu Xun, Shi Jing Library in Tibet (the predecessor of the National Library) collected the first batch of 64 volumes of Yongle Dadian.

The mystery of the original Yongle ceremony;
Sadly, after the transcript of Yongle Dadian was recorded, there was almost no description of the original in the literature. After five or six hundred years of wind and rain, the original is still missing, and replicas are scattered all over the place. By the end of 20 17, only 4 18 copies of Yongle Dadian had been found, and even these 400 copies were scattered all over the world.
At present, the National Library of China has the largest collection of Yongle Dadian in the world, with 224 volumes, which can be called "the treasure of the town hall", and every piece of paper is precious.
