According to public comments, libraries, museums, civic halls and other public welfare places in Jiangyin are open to the public and provide free parking services to the public.

Jiangyin Library was founded in 1936 and independently built in 1987. The new library was completed and opened in 2005, covering an area of about 5 100 square meters.
