1959 graduated from Xuzhou Normal University (now Jiangsu Normal University). Senior teacher in rugao middle school, Jiangsu Province. Member of Jiangsu Branch of Chinese Writers Association, director of Jiangsu Lu Xun Research Association, and chairman of Rugao Literature Association.
He has published many articles on Luxun studies in academic journals such as Luxun Studies and Journal of Beijing Normal University, and many essays in Guangming Daily and People's Daily (overseas edition).
His published works include Lu Xun and Teenagers, After the publication of Lu Xun's masterpieces, Doubts about the majestic Kunlun Mountains-A Probe into the Questions in Lu Xun's Textbooks and Writing Skills, Forever Loud Instructions-Lu Xun's Educational Story, Lu Xun's Great Educator, The Road to Success in Writing, Nostalgia (Prose Collection), and The Longevity First County in China, etc.
Among them, Question and Educator is listed as the recommended bibliography of 1990 and 1992 National Golden Key Book Awards, and has participated in book fairs in Beijing, Hong Kong and Tokyo. People's Daily, Guangming Daily, Reading Magazine, China Book Review and other newspapers and periodicals have published commentary articles, giving a good evaluation of his research works on Lu Xun. Some prose works have been included in books such as Appreciation of Contemporary Short Prose.
Xiang Yun, a collection of essays, won the first prize of the second (199 1-2002) Literary Academic Award of Nantong Municipal Government. The essay "Xiangyun" profoundly depicts the antique Rugao alley, and was selected as the third self-reading textbook for junior middle school Chinese in nine-year compulsory education.
