Jilin Railway Vocational and Technical College, located in Jilin City, Jilin Province, is a provincial public full-time vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education, a national double-high plan construction unit, a national modern apprenticeship pilot unit and a demonstration vocational college in Jilin Province.

The college was formerly known as Jilin Railway Economic School founded by 1948 and Jilin Railway Transport Workers College founded by 1958. On 196 1, it was renamed as Jilin Railway Institute. In August 2005, the college was transferred from industry to local education. In February 2006, with the approval of Jilin Provincial People's Government, it was transformed into Jilin Railway Vocational and Technical College.
