In order to make it convenient for readers to borrow their favorite books without coming to the library in person, Shenzhen Library has set up a pre-lending library for some new books purchased in recent years, and cooperated with self-service library to form a lending service in the city's outlets. Anyone can borrow books in advance as long as there is a "pre-borrowing registration" button at the bottom of the books you retrieve. The general process is to log on to Shentu's website first, look for books, click "Pre-lending Registration", select the nearest self-service library outlet after logging in for authentication, and submit. The library will process the document and send it to your designated self-service library within 48 hours after you submit your request. After the book is put on the shelves, it will automatically trigger a text message to inform you. You need to pick up the book within the specified time (it seems to be two days after receiving the notice), otherwise it will be registered as a breach of contract.
