Xi An Haitang Vocational College was formerly Shaanxi Haitang Traditional Chinese Medicine Beauty Training College, and 1999 was renamed Shaanxi Haitang Aesthetics College. In 2004, with the approval of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and the record of the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to a full-time private higher vocational college and renamed xi 'an Haitang Vocational College.

The college has 10 specialized institutions such as board of directors, hospital management committee, teaching guidance committee and academic committee, 20 functional departments such as college office, academic affairs office and student affairs office, and 5 secondary colleges such as medical beauty college, medical technology college, economic management college, continuing education college and entrepreneurship college. College is located in Bailuyuan University Town in the eastern suburb of Xi, covering an area of 340,000 square meters, with a total construction area of about 6,543,800 square meters. The total assets of teaching instruments and equipment are more than 60 million yuan. The library has about 950,000 paper books and more than 400 periodicals, including about 30T e-books and 900 computers for teaching.
