In order to meet the reading needs of readers, on the premise of implementing epidemic prevention and control measures, from May 13, some city study rooms of Luoyang Library and Heluo Bookstore will expand their functional space on the basis of restoring the original open space and service functions. During the opening period, libraries and study rooms in Luoyang still implement reservation and current restriction services.
Among them, Luoyang new library will expand the opening of newspaper reading room, self-help book bar, electronic reading room and readers' leisure area, and Luoyang old library will expand the opening of self-study reading room, newspaper reading room and electronic reading room. The number of simultaneous readers of the new library shall not exceed 500, and the number of simultaneous readers of the old library shall not exceed 400.
At present, there are 94 study rooms in Luoyang, including 62 in the urban area and 32 in the county. From 13, readers can read books, newspapers and study by themselves according to the requirements of study rooms in cities. Subsequently, the study rooms in other cities will be reopened one after another. In addition, all the branches of Luoyang Children's Library in the urban area have been reopened to support readers to read in the library. On the basis of doing a good job in epidemic prevention and control, reopened public libraries, city study rooms and other public places can hold various necessary meetings and activities with the consent of the competent authorities.
I would like to remind readers that Luoyang Library and Luoyang Children's Library have opened reservation services. Readers can make an appointment in the official WeChat account of each library one day in advance, or register in the library with their real names on the spot. When entering the library, readers must hold their valid ID card and reader's card, show their Luo Kang code, pass the temperature test and have no obvious abnormal symptoms such as cough before entering the library. Readers are required to wear masks all the time during their stay in the museum.
