Influence of frontier publications in earth sciences
At present, earth science frontiers (abbreviated as GSF), an international geoscience journal co-founded by China Geo University and Peking University, has been included in SCI by Thomson Reuters. Prior to this, the journal has been included in important retrieval systems such as Wanfang Data Resource System and China Knowledge Network (CNKI) database. 20 14 and 20 15 were rated as one of the most influential journals in China by CNKI. On October 20 16, 16 10, GSF was selected as the scientific citation index Expand (SCIE) by Thomson Reuters, which made GSF take a new step. Academician Mo Xuanxue was the editor-in-chief of GSF, Professor Santosh was the deputy editor-in-chief, Professor Wan Xiaoqiao was the executive deputy editor-in-chief, and Professor Gregory Davis was the special deputy editor-in-chief at the initial stage of publication. They have rich experience in running international geoscience journals, which makes the popularity and international display of GSF journals constantly improve.
