Because the library is engaged in a large number of book purchasing and management, the management of the library is a very important work. With the rapid development of computer and education, the previous book preservation management is difficult to meet the requirements of teachers and students in colleges and universities. As a basic construction, the book management system has also begun to grow and develop. In order to make the library play its role, management software is urgently needed to manage the library system.

Based on JSP language, this paper establishes a management system. According to the characteristics of the library management system, the model is established, and then the demand analysis and feasibility analysis are carried out. Secondly, the function module tells the design goal, design requirements, and some software development environments and tools, as well as detailed design, detailed design, design principles, design methods, databases, etc. Finally, the book management is realized through the system. The book management system adopts IDEA as the development environment, Tomcat server and JDK as data development tools, and MYSQL as the database to complete the B/S mode book management system.
