Born in 1954, Shaoyang city. 1969 began to learn painting, 197 1 entered the factory as a worker. 1972 Completed the first oil painting and participated in the Hunan Art Exhibition. 1978 was admitted to the Oil Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. 1982 graduated from college and was assigned to work in Changsha Art Museum. He was the executive chairman of Hunan Young Artists Association and a member of China Artists Association. 1988 was admitted by graduate students of Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Later, he settled in Los Angeles. He is now a full-time painter at Desher Gallery in Los Angeles, USA, and deputy director of the Art Development Committee of the International Buddhist Society.
Li Zijian's "Wenchuan Girl Listening to Spring" was specially painted for the Wenchuan earthquake. Oil paintings such as "October" were selected for national and provincial art exhibitions, and works such as "White Light" won the first prize and excellent prize at the provincial level.
