The library of Beijing Normal University began in 1902, and the first library was built in 1922. 193 1, the library of Beiping University Women's Teachers College merged with 1952 Beiping Fu Jen Catholic University Library, and another library was built 1959. 1989 has built a modern comprehensive library with a building area of nearly 20,000 square meters. In order to meet the school's discipline construction and development goals, the "new library building" has sprung up like mushrooms after rain and was put into use in 2008. The new library is being used in the school. The original library is currently being renovated and plans to become an office area.
