There are nearly 400,000 books, more than 2,000 newspapers and periodicals, and a large number of digital books and electronic periodicals. The characteristic collections are Qingpu local documents and Wuyue cultural documents.

The library has a literature lending room, a literature theme lending room, a children's lending room, a reference reading room, a newspaper reading room, an electronic reading room and a lecture hall. , and equipped with modern equipment such as wireless internet access and self-service book borrowing and returning system.

As a branch of Shanghai Central Library, it realizes networking, borrowing and returning, and complementary resources with Shanghai Library, public branches and grassroots service points in various districts and counties. At the same time, as the central library of the whole region, it strives to play a coordinating and guiding role and establish a service network covering the literature information service and literature resources of the whole region.
