1, determine the user role.
The first step of user analysis is to identify and determine the user role and analyze the user portrait. According to the user's basic information, usage behavior, usage attributes and usage experience collected by the product team, the basic user portrait is sketched, and the user who uses the product is portrayed, thus showing the three-dimensional user portrait of the product.
2. Draw the user journey map.
After drawing the portrait of the target user, the product manager should follow up the user behavior and draw the user journey map. The so-called user journey map refers to the interaction point between consumers and products and services as a journey framework, and the experience of consumers when building stories with products as the content.
3. Pay attention to product availability
The above two steps emphasize the importance of user portrait and user journey map, but no matter how detailed the user analysis is, the first thing is that the product must meet the needs of users, and all the subsequent steps can be completed.
4. Select the appropriate user analysis tool.
The product manager should make clear the user attributes and data that need to be analyzed in user analysis, and select the most suitable analysis tool according to these attributes and data.
5. Write a user analysis report and copy it.
Through the above four steps, the relevant steps of user analysis are basically completed, and then a user analysis report should be written according to the collected data and results. In the process of writing analysis report, we should pay attention to the display of intuitive charts, not limited to text expression, and draw conclusions from a large number of data, that is, discover the inner essence from the surface.
