Quails hatch in an incubator. What is the incubation temperature?
Temperature is the primary condition for embryo development. Quails and other birds can hatch at constant or variable temperatures. Variable temperature incubation is to control the temperature according to the needs of different stages of embryo development in order to obtain more ideal incubation effect. But if the incubator hatches in batches, there is only constant temperature (37? 、38? ℃? ) incubation, incubation room temperature is generally 20? ~? 25? ℃? . ?

The characteristics of variable temperature incubation should be high in the front, medium in the middle and low in the back, and the temperature control of different types of incubators is different. The temperature of the three-dimensional incubator is controlled at 37? . ? 2? ~? 38? . ? 5? ℃? . ?

In the process of embryo development, it is necessary to communicate with the outside world continuously to use the dynamic ventilation in the incubator. Ventilation can be reduced at the initial stage of incubation, and increased at the later stage, and all ventilation holes can be opened. It is required that the carbon dioxide content in the incubator should not exceed 0.3%. ? Quails hatched by machine don't need to be dried.

Extended data

Measures to improve the hatching rate of quail;

1, choose eggs

Eggs should be fresh and have good color, which meets the requirements of no white skin, no soft skin and no trachoma. The weight of an egg is generally 9~ 12? G or above, the egg shape should be slightly pointed at one end and slightly rounded at the other end, and the ratio of its diameter to the transverse diameter of the egg should be 1: 1.4.

2, egg preservation

The storage room for breeding eggs should be well ventilated, free of mosquitoes, flies and rats, and the concentration of harmful gases in the room should be lower than the prescribed hygiene standards. Eggs should not be vibrated to prevent cold wind and direct sunlight. Storage time of breeding eggs: 7-8 days in summer, and no more than 10d days in winter.

3, egg disinfection

Before hatching, the eggs should be disinfected once. You can put the eggs in an egg tray (the eggs are upright or slightly inclined, with their big heads up) and then put them on an egg rack car to push the incubator for disinfection. Generally, fumigation can be used for disinfection. The dosage is 28 ml formalin per square meter, and the fumigation time is 20 minutes.

4. Temperature control

The incubation temperature is relatively stable at 37.8~39? Because the embryo age, variety and season of quail are different, the incubation temperature can be adjusted appropriately. Generally speaking, the younger the embryo, the higher the requirement for incubation temperature. With the increase of embryo age, the incubation temperature can be reduced appropriately. Egg-type varieties need lower incubation temperature, while dual-purpose varieties need higher incubation temperature. The incubation temperature is slightly higher in early spring, and then it can be reduced appropriately with the gradual increase of temperature. The temperature in the incubator should be kept at 20~25? ℃。

5. Moisture regulation

Humidity generally refers to the relative humidity in the incubation room. The humidity should be adjusted according to the different stages of embryo development. At the initial stage of incubation, the humidity should be kept at 55%~60%. In the middle stage, the relative humidity should be reduced to 50%~55% so as to urinate sac fluid and amniotic fluid, and in the later stage, it should be increased to 65%~70% so as to hatch quails and prevent villi from sticking to eggshells. Humidity is mainly adjusted by increasing or decreasing the area of the water tray in the incubator and controlling the amount of water sprayed in the incubator.

6. Ventilation

During the incubation process, the vent hole on the incubator should be gradually opened with the growth of quail embryo age. 8 Before hatching? D Breathe 1~2 times a day, 8? After d, increase the number of air changes appropriately. For the chicks in the incubator, all ventilation holes should be opened to facilitate the breathing of quail.

7. Turn the egg over.

Flipping the hatching position and angle of the eggs is mainly to make the eggs heated evenly, promote embryo activity and prevent the embryos from adhering to the eggshell. When hatching, the egg is turned automatically every 2 hours at an angle of 60 degrees, and the egg turning is stopped 2-3 days before hatching.

Step 8 test eggs

During the incubation period, eggs are usually performed twice, and the development of embryos can be understood through egg testing. Can I take the first photo 4~5 days after hatching? Illuminate the eggs with an egg detector. The fertilized egg is red, showing that the embryonic blood vessels are spider-like with black eyes in the center, while the unfertilized egg has high transparency, and the color of the egg after illumination is similar to that of the eggshell. Second, the post-incubation care is 10~ 13? D, at this time, take out the eggs whose embryo development has stopped, so as not to stink and pollute the air in the incubator.

9. Be sure to hatch.

After hatching 16~ 17? After d, the chicks can hatch. If the incubation temperature is relatively uniform, it can generally be 2~3? Chickens hatch in h, and in the three-dimensional incubator, because of different hatching levels and uneven temperature, the incubation time will be extended by one day and night. After the hatched feathers are dried, they can be put into a preheated brooding box for brooding. Small quails that are difficult to hatch can be hatched by breaking their shells artificially.
