The library is located in the central area of the second phase of the new campus of the school, with an area of 55,000 square meters. The paper library has a storage capacity of more than 3 million volumes and more than 5,000 reading seats. The appearance is taken from the traditional spatial intention of "Dou": "A man of great learning and great talent", which means "respecting capacity".

The library consists of five functional departments: paper document construction and reading promotion service department, digital resource construction and technical service department, subject service department, Chengdu local document center and comprehensive department. The service mode of "collecting, borrowing, reading and inquiring" is implemented. The opening hours are: Monday to Sunday from 7: 00 to 22: 30 (excluding legal holidays), and the weekly opening hours are 108.5 hours, providing network resources 24 hours a day.
