Since 1998, Dehua No.1 Middle School has won the prize for participating in the discipline competition at or above the provincial level 188 times. Among them, Ye and Guo won the first and second prizes in the 13th "Hope Cup" National Mathematics Invitational Tournament held in April 2002.
