In addition, through unremitting efforts, the quality of the library's characteristic collections has been significantly improved and the number has been continuously enriched. Since 2000, Heluo area has collected more than 500 epitaphs and stone carvings, and more than 2,000 epitaphs and rubbings. Based on the characteristic collection, the school declared 3 scientific research projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level. The Heluo Cultural Information Center and the Heluo Ancient Stone Carving Art Museum have been set up in the museum. Leaders and experts from the Ministry of Education, National Cultural Heritage Administration, Institute of Archaeology, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University and relevant departments of provinces and cities spoke highly of this. In 2004, the library began to apply for the construction of the special database of Heluo cultural literature, and now it has more than 30 thousand items of data such as works, bibliographies, full-text papers, rubbings and cultural relics photos. The project has passed the acceptance and won the third prize for the construction of characteristic database in CALIS Center of the Ministry of Education.
