In order to implement the requirements of building a civilized city in Taiyuan, the following conventions are formulated in accordance with the Public Library Law and the Regulations of Taiyuan Municipality on Promoting Civilized Behavior:

First, please pay attention to clean appearance and civilized behavior when entering the library. Please don't take off your shoes or lie on the reading chair or sofa.

Two, consciously safeguard the health of the museum, prohibit graffiti, littering, peel in the museum area. Please don't eat or drink sugary drinks in the reading area.

Three, take good care of books and public property, if there is any damage, it must be compensated according to the regulations.

4. It is forbidden to climb handrails and railings, and children must be accompanied by guardians in the museum.

5. No seat occupation. Please don't move the desks and chairs. Please take all your personal belongings with you when you leave the library. Please take good care of your valuables.

6. As a quiet reading place, the library should speak in a low voice, and don't run and jump noisily. Please turn the mobile communication equipment to mute/vibrate when entering the room, and answer the phone outside.

7. Scooters, bicycles, baby carriages and pedal unicycles are prohibited from being brought into the museum to ensure readers to read quietly.

Eight, more than 60 years of age (including 60 years of age) and the disabled have priority in borrowing.

9. Smoking and naked flame are prohibited in the museum area. It is forbidden to bring inflammable and explosive articles, pipe products, dangerous liquids and other contraband (according to the anti-terrorism law and the requirements of public security departments, contraband includes: simulation guns, various knives, scissors, pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches and other items that are easy to cause personal injury), toy guns, knives and other items into the museum.

Ten, it is forbidden to bring pets into the green belt inside and outside the museum, to ensure public safety.

Eleven, infants crying in the museum, affecting the normal reading of others, will be advised to leave the museum, emotional stability before entering.

12. Uncivilized behaviors such as deliberately picking fights and making a scene in the library will be forcibly cleared out of the library.

Thirteen, consciously abide by the rules and regulations of each reading area, civilized borrowing, and cooperate with the guidance of the staff.

14. In order to ensure the normal operation of the equipment in the library, please do not unplug the power cord of the electronic equipment in the library, otherwise it will damage the equipment.
